The UConn Chamber Singers, Collegium Musicum, Concert Choir, and Women’s Choir will be traveling to sing in some of the great churches of Europe during Spring Break. Performances in Salzburg Cathedral, St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel in Rome are scheduled but there is no need to travel to Europe to hear the music the choirs will sing. At this concert the choirs will preview glorious selections by Palestrina, Vittoria, Monteverdi, Schütz, Bach, Mendelssohn, Poulenc, Telfer, Lauridsen, Gjeilo, Hogan, Gibbs, and more.
