Dress in your Halloween best and join us for some SPOOK-tacular fun in Downtown Storrs!
Together with the Town of Mansfield, the Mansfield Downtown Partnership will host free, Halloween fun in Downtown Storrs!
Enjoy trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses, trick-a-trunk along Wilbur Cross Way, and more!
This event is free and open to all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
In addition to trick-or-treating at participating Downtown Storrs businesses, Downtown Boo Bash will feature:
E. O. Smith Drumline performance on Betsy Paterson Square (3:00 PM)
A spooky surprise from Mansfield Academy of Dance on Betsy Paterson Square (3:15 PM)
Seasonal storytime with Mansfield Public Library on Betsy Paterson Square (3:30 PM)
Trick-a-Trunk along Wilbur Cross Way (3:00 - 5:00 PM)
Halloween activities hosted by Mansfield Parks & Recreation on Wilbur Cross Way (3:00 - 5:00 PM)
New this year, attendees are invited to join in themed, group photos on Betsy Paterson Square. Gather under the Jeffrey P. Ossen Family Foundation Pavilion for a photo op with fellow trick-or-treaters wearing similar costumes and receive an instant-print black and white copy of the picture to take home. If you’d like a digital, full-color copy of the photo, signups for email distribution will also be available at the event.

3:45 PM: Animals & Creatures – then – First Responders – then – Fairytale Costumes
4:00 PM: KPop Demon Hunters – then – Wicked/ Wizard of Oz – then – Wednesday/Addams Family
4:15 PM: Science Fiction – then – Superheroes & Supervillains – then – Scary Costumes
4:30 PM: All Costumes!

Weather: Downtown Boo Bash takes place rain or shine.
Parking: Parking is available in the Downtown Storrs Parking Garage (33 Royce Circle), which is free for your first 2 hours and just $1/hour thereafter. The garage is about a 3-minute walk to Betsy Paterson Square.
Please note: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: None! Downtown Boo Bash is free and open to everyone!
Road Closures:
To accommodate the event, the following streets will be closed from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, October 25:
Wilbur Cross Way from Elsie Marsh Way to Royce Circle
West Access Road (behind Kathmandu Kitchen & Bar)
Royce Circle from Wilbur Cross Way to Dog Lane (at Barnes & Noble UConn)
