UConn Jazz presents: Jazz Tenet: The Music of Rob McConnell

Canadian valve-trombonist and arranger, Rob McConnell left us in 2010, but his thoughtful musical arrangements endure. After three decades of leading the 22-member, Grammy-winning Boss Brass, Rob streamlined his band to just ten musicians. Our student musicians will draw upon music recorded on Rob's three 10tet albums, recorded between 2000 and 2003.
