Bike Mansfield invites you to learn from Steven Moore about his experience participating in the Trans Am Bike Race!

You’ve seen the movie, now meet one of the competitors. Earlier this year Bike Mansfield screened the documentary "Inspired to Ride" about the Trans Am Bike Race, the annual, self-supported, 4,265-mile cycling race across the United States. 

In 2017, Glastonbury resident Steven Moore was one of the race competitors and at this event he will answer the question, “Why the heck did I do this?” Steven will tell us all about the trials and tribulations of preparing for and completing the race. He will bring stories and pictures about the people and personalities, the scenery and the sweat, the hallucinations and the elation. 

Find out what it is like to ride the longest individual “time trial” in the USA. (Fastest time to date is 17 days!).
