The Mansfield Downtown Partnership presents
An Evening with Patty Tuite & Friends
Fresh off the new release of her latest album, Consider This, Patty Tuite will bring her signature blues and rock sound to Downtown Storrs on Thursday, August 5. This free performance on Betsy Paterson Square will be hosted by the Mansfield Downtown Partnership and will start at 6:30 PM.
Patty Tuite is a multi-talented singer/songwriter and musician who draws inspiration from great women performers, such as jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James and modern musicians Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi, for a sound that is uniquely her own. Patty’s new album, Consider This, features all songs written by herself. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Paul Nelson, her album reached the Root Music Report Top 50 Contemporary Blues Album Charts earlier this month. Learn more about Patty at PattyTuite.com.
Local music fans will recognize the names of contributing artists on the album’s credits, including Jan Jungden, Justin Blackburn, and Mark Annulli. Patty will be joined onstage on August 5 by Mike Bloomer, Jan Jungden, Mark Annulli, Judi Thompkins, and Chris Beaudry.
Guests are invited to bring a blanket or a lawn chair and are welcome to either pick-up some take-out from one of our great Downtown Storrs restaurants or bring your own snacks. Alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited on the Square.
